Celebrating the Fowler family!

The Fowler family have been with me since 2017, when I captured Shelby’s maternity session for her first baby, William. Since then, I’ve had the honor of documenting births, newborn sessions, family portraits, and extended family photos for both sides of Shelby and Clay’s family. Being a part of so many special moments in their lives has been an absolute privilege!

This session was particularly meaningful as it took place at Clay’s parents’ home in Jackson, TN—the very place where he grew up. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, as the whole family had gathered to celebrate Clay’s mother’s birthday.

We captured timeless moments in front of a magnolia tree that Clay’s parents planted when they first moved to the property. It was a beautiful and symbolic backdrop, representing the roots they’ve nurtured over the years and the flourishing family they now celebrate. Their home, filled with love and memories, is the perfect setting for raising a family and cherishing the lives of their grandchildren.

Sessions like these are why I always encourage including extended family whenever possible. With no time limit, we’re able to capture a wide variety of groupings—siblings, cousins, grandparents, and more—resulting in a gallery full of moments that families can treasure for generations.
