On July 22, 2023, Mary Helen English and Evan Holt celebrated their love with a beautiful wedding at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, TN, followed by a lively reception at the New Southern Hotel. The day was everything they had prayed for — celebrating their marriage and love for Jesus. Every single detail and moment was intentionally designed so they could make amazing memories with their friends and family!
Their journey began in college, even though their paths had crossed during high school track meets. Despite initially not wanting to date, Mary Helen quickly realized how amazing Evan was, and they started dating in January 2019. Evan's proposal was just as thoughtful and intentional as he is—complete with a personalized picnic and a heartfelt conversation, topped off with a surprise celebration with friends and family.
Their wedding was a burst of sky blue, grass green, white, and gold, with natural, bright colors that perfectly matched the timeless church setting. The day was all about fun, confetti, and ribbons, capturing the joy and excitement of their love story.
